Members and Friends,
If the weather cooperates, we are GO for launch at the Atlas Site on Saturday, February 4th, subject to normal precautions. Let’s hope Mother Nature plays nicely. The current weather predictions look questionable. We are expecting mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies, gradually clearing as the winds increase, gusting…[Read more]

I hope the launch year is more friendly in 2023. As some know, I work weekends.
Every weekend taken off last year for a launch was no joy. Canceled.
The drought outlook indicates not much an improvement.
All who know me. I am still here and ready to launch.
All who do not know me, I look forword to seeing You and see your bird fly.

Members and Friends,
NO GO for Saturday and/or Sunday at the North Site, November 5/6. I know this is disappointing. After discussions and deliberations, the prudent, responsible, and right thing to do decision has been made. Conditions on the prairie remain very dry and crispy. Apologies for such late notice. Looks like SCORE will be lau…[Read more] -

We are NO GO for Oktoberfest. Probably not unexpected news. Colorado, and other western states remain in a state of moisture deprivation. The Forest Service is presently removing livestock from the Pawnee grassland based on the dry conditions and lack of forage production. The weather forecasts are not in our favor. We are again looki…[Read more]

Alternative launch events include a non waivered launch with CRASH – http://www.crashonline.org/ on Sunday, September 4th or take a road trip t…[Read more]

We are back at school soon here in Windsor. Even though we were not able to come to a NCR launch this summer at the Pawnee Grasslands we are looking forward to our launch day in the fall. We would love to get some help teaching our students how to build the rockets. I am wondering if we could get you or someone else from your club to come to ou…[Read more]

Well, I didn’t make it to the May launch (just as well since it didn’t happen) but will definitely be in your area next weekend unless gasoline runs out along the way… 🙂 Any idea whether the July launch is happening?

Hello all,
I might be coming to your May launch, as I’m planning to visit friends in Wyoming around then, and I’d like to take them to a launch as they’ve never been, and launch a few myself. Wondering if anyone might be interested in Experimental Composite Propellant 2nd edition. I can bring a few copies if you’ll let me know.
I also have 38mm…[Read more]

We are GO for launch on Saturday, March 5th from the Atlas Site, subject to normal precautions. However, it looks like Mother Nature may not be very cooperative. Members and Friends,
I was holding out with hope but now NO JOY – no NCR launch for February dates. Completely my badness. Apparently I didn’t allow enough time for the renewal process for the Atlas Site Certificate of Authorization/Waiver. Profound apologies although the current weather forecasts aren’t very favorable anyway. Everything…[Read more]
