The next launch is the last chance for a Super Single shot flight. Since December will probably be at the Atlas site we would break the waiver with a J350.
Is any one planning a shot (other than me)?
Warren, what are the current standings for both single shot contests?

Ed may I remind you that you have had many many many Rocket failures this year.
Sending any Rockets past 8975 feet especially on a J350 could just lead to more heart ache and frustration for you (and me). 🙄 Think about the electronics and motor case you could loose and the wasted time and effort. Think about it.

Ed, I’d go ahead and do that if I were you. I mean, fly it. Scott’s a newbie – besides, I have a stealth flyer that’s sure to win if I can find it.

You bring up a good point. The kitchen does need a new floor. However, since you have already flown your SSSC maybe you should come over and do the floor and then I’ll head out and fly. 😉
The many, many failures that I have had are weighing heavily on me – I suppose I need a shot at redemption (there’s either a song or a rocket name in that sentence).

I’d definitely go ahead and do that if I were you… current record is 5967′ for SSS and 8975′ for SSSS…. pot is over $200 for SSS and right at $200 (I think) for SSSS.
Potential for those that care is 8000 or so for an SSS bird and 13K or so for an SSSS bird….

OOOhhhhhhhhh…. airline tickets on sale, $154. Rental car (believe it or not), $10.83/per day. Parking at DSM airport, $14… Breaking into my brother’s house while he is on vacation so I have a place to sleep? PRICELESS!!!!!!!!

Scott, you did the smartest thing — flying your project during the normal season. The weatherman has a way of wreaking havoc at the November launch. The N site is practically Wyoming 🙂
