I’m going to create a rocketry “yearbook” containing photos of rockets flown by Colorado residents during the year of 2011. This is an open call for photo submissions. If you took any rocket-related photos this year, whether at an event within Colorado, or of a Colorado resident at an event out of state, I would love to include them. I’m particularly interested in photos of anyone who obtained a high power certification (any level) this year. Please contact me offline, by PM, email, or however you wish. You may also bring me photos to NCR’s Oktoberfest launch.
Please include the photographer’s name, flyer’s name, rocket name, event name, date and location with all submissions, if known. All submissions will be credited appropriately.
I hope to start working on the yearbook after the Oktoberfest launch, and have it ready to debut at next year’s Colorado rocketry dinner.
thank you!
Dave
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
