Dave, congratulations! I wish I could have been there. Since you’ve documented everyone else’s L3, did somebody other than Mike get a vid of yours?

I was going to give my video camera to someone else, but totally spaced it. You know how it is when you’re trying to concentrate on a flight 😉

Those of us that saw it LIVE and in person won’t forget it anytime soon. Rail straight up and out of there – gorgeous boost – perfect deployment and recovery in sight, maybe 350 yards out there. Face plant or tackle to keep it from dragging looked awesome too.

Very nice montage and video Mike. Glad you didn’t include any of the Saturday saturation pictures.

Remember mine went sliding across the prairie, too? It is one of those experiences in life that you’ll look back on and just smile, all the better since you were surrounded by friends. 😉
