A Great Day For A Launch.
Sorry I missed it! Did anyone take advantage of the high windows Joe worked so tirelessly for? I saw the big tower set up. Sorry I missed it (though I rrrrrreally enjoyed Australia) 😀
A few. Not sure how many. Three of Four.
SATURDAY
Art and Doug did a drag race.
We ran out of registration card and had to drag out some
more from Joe’s truck. Many Many flights.
Overcast today….Hope for some flights.

wow, nice liftoff pictures of my rocket! Thank you so much!
At Oktoberfest this year I went over one mile two times.
7900 and change and 5300 and change….WOO WOO
Day 1-2-3 Oktoberfest
My altimeter was reading 17,900 feet and M1.5, but I’m not sure if I feel comfortable claiming it as my new personal best altitude since the rocket is in more pieces now than I started with…..

Hey Nate, which motor and in what sized rocket? Sorry it came back dis-assembled… they do that sometimes 😯
Welcome back from Australia John!!!
Just got back from OF with my L3 in hand!!
Nice pictures Mike. And you owe me Nate, I cleaned that motor for you…
Jason Chamberlin
Congrats, Jason! Did anyone happen to get pictures of my Gray Ghost (Crimson Comet)? Let me describe it… it’s that kinda big gray one on Saturday? I didn’t have time to claim a raffle prize (757107) or get my altitude on the card. For the record, Mike K. said 11,232, and Jordan Russell said 11,233. I was too exahausted to even really listen to it, though it beeped for hours. JW, you were right, it flew dead straight, even in about 10 mph of wind.
I emailed You a picture I think is Your rocket.
Let Me know.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
