Okay, Art, I looked through the site, but every picture I saw said, “The rocket has not yet been painted.” So, I’m thinking the big reveal, though I did see one picture of the paint scheme.
Well, its not intentional that we are omitting photographs of the painted rocket, just an unfortunate set of circumstances that it isn’t painted yet. I’m coming up this weekend so we can finish Odyssey in CO. Art has been working on the primer for 3 weeks now (you know how much of a perfectionist he is) and I think he, both of us, has been averaged about 4 hours of sleep every night for the last few months or so getting it ready to launch. But it will be painted this weekend, but as for the unveiling, it will have to be at the launch since I can’t do anymore posts to the web page until I get back.

p.s. the paint scheme I think you’re referring to is just a 3-D image from Rocsim and is nothing to do with the actual paint scheme.
Well, Doug, Art is definitely a perfectionist. Neither one of you has ever disappointed us. You guys are the yardsticks we fly by. I’ll be on hand Sunday if you need any help carrying stuff, or anything.
Thanks Bruce, we will need helping hands getting it loaded. Last night Art and I did an all nighter getting it ready for painting. The painting has started and it looks like it may be finished by Monday evening. I won’t bother trying to post a picture here since everyone cane see it next weekend. So I guess it will be a big revealing….

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
