ParticipantI have not attended the classes, BUT I do know John Wickman fairly well over the years he and I have had many great conversations and I do know some people that have attended his classes and they are bar none awesome. Just from talking and learning what I have from him and what the others have stated was enough to know. Now at the moment his class schedual is not going as he is in a busy time doing work for some Goverment contract stuff. So when his classes come back to be again im not sure. Have you ever read his book? Used his software? Ive got both and love them alot. very informative and highly recomended.
Im sure if you ask most of the home brewers they will give you the same answers as well.
Also look further down in out forum as we do have a research and EX section for these questions. They being of that topic will get answered easier there.
Now further info on John Wickman: He does work for the air force arm and government he also has done and srill does work for NASA. He is a foremost expert on Aerospace Propulsion. He has had partnership in bussiness with others of the industry of space and propulsion that are as famous as Werner Van Braun and others. so im sure his classes are quite intelligent and inspiring.

ParticipantPossibly, Last time I talked with John (about 2 to 3 weeks ago) he stated he may not be able to do the classes in spring. Normally he allready would have exact dates as spring really is right around the corner. Last year he had to cancel the spring and summer Rocket Camps due to dry conditions and a fire ban. Not that would be a problem this year (I belive he did have his fall classes last Nov) but I belive he may not have enough time with all he has going on. Im not 100% but thought that was what he stated during our conversation. If he decides differently i can say its something to try to get into.

ParticipantBeen on my favorites list for a good 6+ years now. One of the best books and software packs for Research rocketry is Johns book. Also I recomend reading Terry McCrearry’s book as well as another good read is Sutton. The book by Sutton is a bit more hard to understand but good Its about 100.00 for it while John and Terry’s books are about 60 to 70. But with Johns you get a DVD with actual instructions and a software package.
