The rocket may be harder to spot, but the smoke trail will be there.
You know, as far as the smoke altitude goes, seems kind of like something that depends on what kind of day it is more that anything. Probably a dead end conversation.
Bruce, anything Doug says is definitely good advice and I agree with every bit of it because he has had more experience with 75mm loads form both AMW and AT than almost anyone in this hobby.
I would basically decide which flavor of motor you like the best (White, Green, Sparky, ect.) and then see which one works the best in your rocket and gives you the better outcome.
