Edward, as I remember, I’ll be giving you 2 pounds of Sorbitol. 🙂

First of all, Dennis’s “Grip Stix Rocket Rasps” are fantastic. I use mine a lot and would strongly recommend them. Everyone should bring a few bucks to give these a try.
I will be selling a fair amount of stuff too. While times were better (meaning: I was employed), I had a tendency to pick up a few odds and ends for project ideas and the occasional motor or two. I’ll have a few dozen F, G, and H motors and a small kit or two like the Estes V2 or the Apogee Saturn.
Anyone looking for anything specific; parts, motors, or otherwise?

I can’t make it to the annual meeting, but I do have something fairly cool for sale – I have about 7′ of 2.5″ filament wound tubing + some coupler + an absolutely gorgeous Von Karmen glass cone that is custom made for this tubing.
I actually have TWO sets of the above, but I am keeping one for a special MHM project.
2.5″ is a neat size if you want to go nearly minimum diameter for 54mm –You are boring a hole in the sky that is 30% smaller vs. 3″ airframe. BTW, this is also the ideal size for a minimum diameter RATT project – though it will make a dandy 54mm bird as well.
Email me at iflyrockets@mchsi.com or send me a PM if you are interested, want photos, etc. As I’ll be moving back to CO soon, I can deliver this later this month…

I had a car accident this afternoon. My car was towed away, I was taken to the hospital (fine though), so I don’t know the damages yet. I may not be able to make it.

Sorry to hear about the accident but glad you are OK.

ParticipantThat 2.5″ glass tubing and cone sound like the perfect setup for Adrian’s next step up the altitude junkie ladder!
Did I hear right? John W. is moving back to CO? I hope it’s for good reasons rather than the current rash of unemployment! It’ll be good to have the altitude guru back fulltime.

Indeed, I am headed west…. I’m blessed to be gainfully employed on the Front Range. It is a very long story that I’ll share over a campfire sometime.
I started work out there on 12/1, and I have been commuting from Iowa since then. We bought a house west of Windsor, and our Iowa house is under contract and will close 1/16. I’ll be there full time ~February 1st.
Of course I bought a house that has a decent rocket construction area 8) I’m looking forward to being a regular NCR flier again –

AdrianParticipantGreat news John, glad to hear it. We look forward to having you back. This should be fun.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any record-setting motors in 2.5″ diameter. I’m also having fun making my new 38mm rocket totally from scratch. I have a build thread started on it over at Rocketry Planet:http://www.rocketryplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2808
