ParticipantOnly one? What, don’t want to make your own “Gerrard Pad”? 😉
If I don’t make it, I’ll hold one for you.Ken
Ahh, I want to have one around for construction and alignment purposes. It seams like I always mount buttons and have to cross my fingers in hopes that I measured correctly and the rocket will slide freely onto the rail when I get to the launch. If I have a “construction rail”, then I won’t need to worry about that then. Thanks Ken!

ParticipantHi All,
Grit Stix Rocket Rasp
This is my own invention that is simply a 1/8″ x 1″ x 11″ aluminum bar wrapped and bonded with some coarser grits of the A275 Sand paper.
These aggresive Stix work great for reducing and shaping epoxy and fiberglass rocket components.
The finer Stix work great for sizing couplers and breaking sharp edges.
Swap Meet Special
$4.00 each or 3 for $10.00
Dennis BThe Rocket Rasps that Dennis is bringing are great things, get em while you can! I have a set and they have come in handy many times. The best part is that the sandpaper is the good automotive quality stuff, not the cheap stuff, point being, it holds up well.

I’ve got one just for that, too, Art… as well as using rods for lugs and Acme rail guides. Plus, you and others have seen me, in the middle of a build, sliding the club’s rails along the buttons to make sure I’m in line. 😉 A LOT of friends have offered me a ride, and I’m going to ride along with Mike K (slide rule, uh, slipstick). See you guys Saturday!

See you there, Art! I have a 3″ nose cone from my GLR Vertical Assault that saw me through two certs, L1 & L2, and I don’t need it anymore. Plus a body tube for a 29mm SSS or SSSS. Price is right, i.e., FREE! Edward, measured out your Sorbitol, and it’s good to go, as well as some stuff for JamesR.

Dibs on the 29mm tube!
Anyone got 38mm motor mount tubing or a 38mm LOC coupler?
