Does anyone have a tracker of some kind that I could borrow on this Saturday?
I’d love to put something to 10k or so, but I won’t be doing it unless I could borrow a tracker of some kind.
Chris, we’ll see how it goes… I’m going to try to lob three flights up that all require tracking, so I’ll be bizzy swapping from one to another to another. If I can crack off all three flights, I’ll sure help you (provided there is a way to install the tracker w/o too many mods). I am not a fan of taping them to the shock cord — it is too easy to tear off an antenna. Lets compare notes this w/e.

I was planning on sticking it in the payload bay actually – how much room should I plan on allowing?
This isn’t quite a fully optimized rocket, so I have a little more room than I otherwise might…
You need about 9″ or a snitch more. Bring a dowel that is ~0.125″ or so…
Chris,
I was planning on a few high altitude shots this weekend, but may not be able to make it.
You are welcome to borrow my Adept transmitter/ receiver before the weekend and if I do end up making it, I’ll track you down……. (get it?)…

Ha, ha… Trying to keep a lower profile with all my posts, but sorry, I couldn’t resist. Good one. Hee, hee… 😉
Low profile?
😆
Thanks Ed – it’s looking like I’ll definitely be flying now, as someone will have a tracker. Here’s hoping that it’s clear and calm…
8) Sure Bruce. A Perfect Level 3, and you don’t love us no-mo 😛 😛
you don’t love us no-mo
But I does, I does! And can’t wait for Saturday! YeeHAW!
Low profile? 😀
Chris, you aren’t that far behind me with posts. 😉
Very true, but I’m not claiming to keep a low profile 😉
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
