April launch still a 2-day event?

I see we are scheduled for April 2 (regular launch) and April 3 (research launch). Is that still the case? Gosh, I may have been asleep during that part of the meeting?

We got a nice rain in Windsor last night. Not sure how much, but it was nice to be woken up by rain hitting the roof…

The intent was to take advantage of the weekend for Tripoli members wanting to fly Research loads on Sunday. Saturday is for Commercial motors and a launch day for NAR and TRA members. Sunday was scheduled as a TRA Research launch. If the weather doesn’t cooperate for NCR on Sunday, Research flights might be happening the following Sunday with Tripoli Colorado at Hartsel, if the weather cooperates for them.

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
