May be the bigest thing to go up in a while.
I know, how sad is that?
Well, I’m not adverse to mud, but physically I can only help so much, and the more you have there, the more mud is going to be tracked around. Not to mention parking on your land to the left coming in; I don’t want to rut it up. Love the smell of horses though. I guess I’ll decline unless needed.
Tell me where to go for the next launch. I thought they were all sold out.
But I guess they dont go on sale till 6 weeks befor the launch. I guess.May be the bigest thing to go up in a while.
Scott, this was the tour we took:

PM or call me and I can give you the nitty gritty on things. Basically no way you’d get one via NASA – and why not leave the driving to someone else, anyway? The NASA Causeway tickets were something like $65 and this tour was $115 per person. You are physically within 1/4 mile of where you’d be if you were lucky enough to snag tix directly from NASA. It appears NASA gives the vast majority of tickets to tour operators, anyway.
Thanks to everyone who chipped in to help with the cleaning day. We have everything clean and ready to go for MHM!
In no particular order, thanks to Ken Sherman, Ken Plattner, Ken Reilly, John Reilly & friend, KayLee Reilly, Warren Musselman, Warren DeBelle, Dennis Billings, Ron Dreasher, Fred Hower , Mike Hacker, Mark Stumbaugh, and Dave “Greywolves” Bishop.
We can’t have club or a launch without the generosity of people like you!
Many Thanks.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
