Now if only they would provide altitude (elevation) as part of their realtime telemetry… and use a chipset other than SirFIII

they will dump the DC-30’s at a reduced price.
I could go for $100 DC-30’s. Mine seem to work flawlessly.
Yeah, the altitude would be really nice info to have. It would be very interesting to watch the descent rate.
Can anyone post a picture of a DC 30 or DC 40? I have a DC 20 but I’m not excited about modifying the antenna mount and it just takes up too dang much space in the stock configuration. It appears from the pictures I can find that the antenna config in the DC 30/40 is much more rocket friendly. Thanks.
I guess I should also ask if anyone has a fool proof way of redirecting the antenna on a DC20 by 90 degrees.
I got 90 degree SMA connectors at JB Saunders in Boulder – I think they were $1.50 or something like that.

Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
