I could go for $100 DC-30’s. Mine seem to work flawlessly.
Yeah, the altitude would be really nice info to have. It would be very interesting to watch the descent rate.
Can anyone post a picture of a DC 30 or DC 40? I have a DC 20 but I’m not excited about modifying the antenna mount and it just takes up too dang much space in the stock configuration. It appears from the pictures I can find that the antenna config in the DC 30/40 is much more rocket friendly. Thanks.
I guess I should also ask if anyone has a fool proof way of redirecting the antenna on a DC20 by 90 degrees.
I got 90 degree SMA connectors at JB Saunders in Boulder – I think they were $1.50 or something like that.
