Mike Shinn, are you going to pull the trailer to Saturday’s launch on the 4th? If you can’t or don’t, I will do it. The forecast at this moment is 54 and sunny. So I am prepping rockets right now. I am planning on being out there by 8:30. (providing Joe does not get in the way and say that we can’t!LOL)
Yes sir, I will tow both ways.
Woo Woo
I got dibs on towing both ways for the March launch!
Great. Thanks Guys.
EVERYONE apperciates your helping to tow the trailer!
Otherwise, no trailer = no launch.
It is a selfish thing; I want to make sure I can fly rockets. This guarantees me that much! LOL
It also means I am making a contribution. Mike and I live closer to the trailer than just about anyone else. The trailer is only about 20 miles from my front door and I have to pass right by it to get to the Atlas site. I do not always make it to clean up days or go south very often. As it is I am slow about launching and packing up because I talk to damn much, so this still allows me to perform an important duty, even if I am not always setting up pads or tearing down at the end of the day.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
