Best weather in Months. Going through Boulder down 93 to 470 then up 285 was like Winter Wonder Land. But up on top…… Like breaking into Spring. The drive home was only about 20 Minutes shorter with traffic campared to going up.
My “K” shot GPS said 7246 on the altitude campared to the two altimeters, one said 6795 and the other like 6725.
The RRC2 minis were a lot closer at the last launches. Only like 50 feet off. I wonder if the reprograming had somthing to do with that?
Maybe it flew into the Higher Pressure coming in this week. 🙄
Or maybe Lo pressure rides on top of High….. I will have to look that up. 🙄
Kinda interesting anyway.
Good thing we had the window open 8)

ALTJNKI
You can take the boy out of Iowa, but….
Hey, the man grew up in Nebraska… although the same probably applies with me from Illinois, corn country and farms as far as the eyes can see. The only rockets I saw were mine!

IFLYHYR… than U
Okay, I like Joe’s… Dave1 can look for alternative meanings in these… as in the CO rejection of, uh, the one he mentioned. Bet that started a round of giggles and guffaws in the license plate department. Anyway…
So… lets hear some ideas for a new rocketry-related plate? I’m all ears!
Hopefully, you don’t love tofu 😆

Another beautiful day at Hartsel today. 🙂
The GPS clicked off 21485 on an “L”. About 12750 AGL. About 1000 ft. above what the altimeters said. About 8-9% ? Ken had his tracker hooked to the coller too. Bet his says the same thing.
I got the bright idea, of running around steeling othe peoples flight data at the Mayhem. 8) We could sell it. 😯

Excellent weather, good friends, lunch at Dorothy’s and a rocket or two are good enough for me 8)
Nice flight, Scott. Unfortunately, I cut off the tip of the rocket when I took the pic, sorry 🙁

Dave–I mean, Mr. Spielberg, speaking of pictures… any chance you’ll have the best of last year (2008) for sale in DVD at MHM? 8)
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
