I know, probably not coming but it never hurts to hope right? Chili dogs are just pure love 😉
Bring Dinty Moore, I’ll bring a grill. Last I heard, Kandy’s Kitchen wasn’t happening and the Hot Dog guy was taken out of business by the Home Depot crowd. Or maybe it was the Loew’s crowd. Probably the Pawnee Mafia. Sorry.
You’re right Joe, time to take matters into our own hands… 😈
My wife, Lea, and I discussed doing food at O’fest (she has cooked for the annual meeting for the last 2 years) but we didn’t want to step on anyone else and Kandy had come twice before so we just assumed… if we had known, we would definitely have come. At the annual meeting we’ll put something up to discuss on the agenda. I think we should be able to count on there being one food vendor at our big events at least on Saturday.

8) Keith and I will bring our wonderfull Elk, Whitetail and Moose Brats. We will bring a pile so bring the buns and goods and we will be good-to-go! 8)
I’m in for the elk, will have a grill, didn’t know about Kandy until the last minute and given the direction the USFS is headed, Food vendors and other vendors are probably going to have to pay for the priviledge of providing a public service. Nothing final yet but that’s the way they are leaning. Details probably firm by January’s meeting.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
