Anybody have a hot wire foam cutter (or power supply for such) that I can borrow for a couple of days?

I made my own with a 12 v battery charger and some 30 guage nichrome. I’ve long lost the bow I had but if you want you are welcome to the battery charger and nicrhome element.

Thanks Edward.
Did you need to vary the voltage on the battery charger, or was it pretty much plug and play? And was it a car battery charger?
Perhaps I could cluge something together.
If mine does not work, I may take you up on the offer to borrow yours.
It is just a 12V sealed lead acid battery charger. I plug it in and hooked up to to the wire. I had to vary the wire to get it hot, then I just cut away.

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
