I heard on the radio this morning that I-25 will be closed in both directions Thursday night and Sunday night from about 7pm to 6am at the I-25 & Hwy 392-Windsor interchange/ Exit 262 for girder installation for the new bridges. Of course there will be detours, but all of the traffic in each direction will be funneled into one lane. It will not be fast. If going north on I-25, I would recommend exiting at Highway 34/ Loveland Exit, # 257. TR and TL at the light to Centera Pkwy. That is also Larimer County Rd. 5. Go north till you get to the light at Harmony/ Co Rd 38 (about 5 miles). TL there and go back to I-25 to continue northbound. Reverse for going home on Sunday night. Only about 2 miles out of the way in total, but to me, beats the heck out of sitting in traffic with frustrated people and the traffic snarls that will show up. I hope this helps. BEAR
With this in mind, I’ll probably take highway 85 all the way up. Thanks for the heads-up!
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
