Mike,
I have been in the same situation. Either too wet or too dry. Both aren't good.
Edward
I sure hope it happens. I have not launched for two years. I have either been rained out
or a fire bad in place. I don't want to jinx things but I am off for this one. Hope it happens.
I plan (if all goes right ) to fly my Thorx upscale one last time. L1115. Last time I had it
prepped and ready to go but the wind would not let up. Hope Hope.
have some changes to make but minor.
Putting some blocks at the end of fin area (between fins) to keep shock cord from wrapping
around the airframe and tangleing in the fin. A lttle cosmetic work and adding Joe's web
site on the side of the rocket. hope it happens.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
