Well I just got some new chems for a project to work on some long burn motors. The main one is Oxamide. Its is a burn rate reducer as well as a cooling agent. can be used in .5 to 2.0 %. Cant wait to get the chance to get some of this in action with some moon burner cores.
Just got a couple lbs myself. Haven’t used it yet, but I’m looking forward to it.

Yes. Should be some great stuff to experiment with on some formulas. Should be able to get some of those long burn motors rolling.
Mixed a batch the other day that used calcium carbonate and ammonium chloride. Nice and slow, with good color to boot. We’re trying to come up with a workable d-grain and moon-burner. Serious sustainer action!

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
