Don’t know how you did, but go with Tim Thomas.
Just put some Acme guides on with JB Weld and you’ll do fine.
He has all you’ll ever need for ALL cert levels. Trust me on that. Tim got me through ALL THREE!
I haven’t started the build on it yet. No one local had any guides. I had checked with colpar along with hobbytown in both Westminster and Longmont. I was going to just go with the lugs unless I get around to ordering some guides.
Most likely, Tim will be at the annual meeting and will have some. I went with guides for my L1 & L2. No problem. Rail buttons are needed for your L3. I could NOT have made any cert level without the help from every member of this club. You’re in good hands, my friend, and remember, this is ALL about having fun. As our El Presidente (Joe Hinton) recommends, have fun going up the alphabet! Don’t rush it, just have fun. This is a hobby, and a really cool one! 8)
I won’t be able to make the meeting… Right now I am working nights 6pm to 6.30am and will work both friday night and saturday night this week. I should be switching work locations and hours probably the week after next and then will be a dayshift person with weekends off for a bit. I am planning on trying to make the dinner at the end of the month. I am taking all the advice I can get.

Doesnt sound like your shift overlaps the meeting!
You dont really need to sleep do you? 😉
My body retaliates if I don’t sleep… I am no longer in my late teens early 20’s.
Sleep is greatly over-rated. Avoid those annoying wake-up calls – don’t sleep. We’ll try to get meeting minutes posted within a week or two.
I am finally getting to the finishing stages of building this. I should be able to start painting this weekend and hope to get some pictures posted.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
