For the most part ready to fly. A little fine painting, shock cord
and chute.

Hey Mike were you get them de-cals.
I like the skull.
And how does that thing fit on that stand? 😉
Paint not decals.
I have only made one rocket that had decals, (4″ Thor-x)
all the rest have been paint.
The extended motor mount is about 1/8″ below the fin length.
It stands by it-self.
I am not happy with the red paint. I used engine paint. Came
out pretty hard and brittle. Hope it does not chip off on landing.
A pretty easy build.
The three inch QUARK is turning out to be a challenge. Ron D.
did a great job on His. Not much room for anything in the air
frame.
All done except motor mount.

show-off! Looks beautiful. 8)
Wow, that’s some careful painting.
I made this 38mm and duel deploy. 98% done

I hope I do not lose this one. Probably will
put my Garmin in. If I can get it to fit. Three
inch, white rockets are hard to see.
Now on to MaMa FOO, and PaPa FOO
I have three three inch rockets with the Garmin stuffed in the Nosecone.
looks sweet!
Missed you at the annual meeting. Jobs do get in the way of rocketry, but you need money to buy engines — the eternal conflict!
mmmmmm 😈 yes.
Why stop at 5.5 (it probably is the perfect size)
I did an 8″ and will again.

Why not go over the top and do a 12″ or so.
GDAM MIKE! I NEVER SAW THAT!
