Good sources for buttons – http://www.coolrocketstuff.com/

among others.
I have 304L Stainless rail buttons for 1010 rail in quantity. Unfortunately I’m out of 1515 buttons and have no immediate prospects for making more. These buttons are aerospace grade and sure to add to your project. Joe Hinton should have some sets left and if not, I do. They come with 8-32 countersunk screws and are a mere $10 a pair. These aren’t cheap plastic buttons but the real thing – stainless steel CNC machined with a finish ground to better than .001″. They actually “repair” dinked up aluminum rails by burnishing down dinks and rough spots not to mention slide more freely than Delrin or Nylon buttons.
The club also has the metric flavor as well.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
