Just make sure to get better in time for Oktoberfest – we can’t have you missing that
That can’t happen. There’s NO WAY I’m gonna miss that N drag race with Conway! 😉

ParticipantWell, True but unfortunate Bruce, But I will end up having to miss it for Oktoberfest. I will be at the launch, But wont have any Rockets to fly. Full Throttle needs a new nose cone and upper body section from an LDRS incident, Nothing big deal but with having no availability to Performance Rocketry parts as well as the lack of time and such it just isnt possible to make it happen. But I will be bringing a fair amount of motors to fly of my Blue formula. From 54MM J and as large as 75MM M and a couple K’s and an L in the middle. The other issues are My time and funds have been tied up in Helping my wife move her whole tanning and Hair salon business from Wellington to Ft Collins, as well as get her new space in Ft Collins all fixed up with Painting the walls and plumbing it and more general work and construction so she can get business under way. Along with get her old space fixed up so she doesn’t get dinged at all for the deposit. PLUS we are getting a new house.. Moving at the end of October. Still in wellington But a bigger house for less money then we pay now. PLUS lots of work and more of it into a new endeavor. BUT that doesnt mean we cant rain check that and make it for MHM of next year on Research Day. You can still fly the motor at Oktoberfest. no worries there. Just solo.. Sorry..

PS anyone wanna help move……………Or not… Just kidding……. Maybe… Yea Im kiddin… 😆

Hey, listen, I understand. I’ll think about it and talk to JamesR. Mine is also made from PR materials; unfortunately, from the 5″ tubing BEFORE the changes PR made to the diameter. So when something breaks–and I don’t care what your rocket is made out of–things happen, that’ll be it. You can still get replacement parts for yours. I’d like to retire that rocket after the N, whether it’s flown this Oktoberfest or next year’s MHM. I’ll replace it with a smaller, faster, sportier, min. 98 tube, 8′ model. I unwound the upper phenolic tube of my L1/L2 rocket at the last launch, but this L3 model I want to keep. If she survives her upper limit on the N, then she should retire. Hey, it’s already got a place in my house, where it can be seen from the bottom floor or the upper floor, with three inches to spare before it hits the ceiling. 😉

ParticipantConway,
I see now that the Rockets Magazine (Liberty Launch Systems) has a bunch of PR components and kits IN STOCK. Maybe they have what you need.
