Hey All,
Disaster with my current build project! I need to find a BT-3.00 tube (ID 3.0″; OD 3.1″) of at least 14″ in length. LOC-Precision sells them but it costs as much to ship as the tube itself. Hobbytown in Fort Collins has nothing this large. Suggestions?
Thanks,
John
Call Bryan Penfold (the rocket garden). He’s local and has lots of LOC stuff. http://www.therocketgarden.com
Or email him at therocketgarden@aol.com

Thanks Ken!

I think somewhere I’ve got some LOC tubing also. If Bryan can’t help you let me know. I’ve found Hobbytown to be very dissapointing, especially since they fired Joe. They order the same Quantum Tube every year, and every year it sits there, unused. If you look back you can see how the prices have went up.
Edward
Thanks Edward! Bryan was quick to reply and I’m hoping to meet up with him this weekend if he is available. It sounds like you all have a great, supportive community going here. I’m looking forward to meeting some of you on the 6th at the launch.

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
