Well seeing that a mention of Loki motors was brought up in another thread here, I was curious as for those that Have Loki hardware or loads and have flown them where did you get yours at? How much interest is there in their products? What things if you could have from them would you want? For those that havent flown them or seen them what Info would you like to get familarized with them..? Or is there even any real interest in them?………Would love to hear what everone thinks. I Think highly of the whole line personnally. They have added a Blue a Red and a Sparky load They have long burn moon burners and hard hitting performance motors. As well as Other products they do. As well as im told alot of new stuff to come. Including another Blue that has performance in the W9 range and larger moonburner and more…
Id like to get as many people to chime in as possible. With all the current APCP motor manufactures out there for Hobby rocketry such as Loki, AMW, CTI, AT, and Gorrilla it seems like a flood of choices…

I’m very interested in their moon burners.
I know a couple of people have talked about carrying the line, and I’m all for that. Personally, I’m waiting to see if there will be real support locally before I belly up for new hardware.

Actually Loki has agreed with a new local vendor as to become their motor line and will very soon in the very near future be servicing Colorado with Loki motors. 😉 So the support will be VERY high. Thats what I can tell you now so far. But Colorado has a Loki dealer in the actual works thats for sure.
As far as collecting info..
Some of these are the questions that need answered. So as things come together the support will be there. What about after that.. Maybe if there were some sort of intro promo for x amount and you get this.. Like Buy 2 or 3 38mm loads and get a hardware set free. or something like that Or buy one 38mm hardware set and a load and get the 2nd load 1/2 off or free.. Just thoughts.. Things to ask for to see if they are possible..
Whole reason I am asking these questions is to help establish what the vendor and manufacture can do to help with the new line of product to our area as well as better service the hobby in our region.
I would have to say I would like to see this motor line do well as they make a great product.

I have a Loki 54mm case (can’t remember the size offhand, but it holds the K350) and have burned one load in it. Expect I’ll be burning a few more as I like the moonburners.

I have the Loki 38 set, and I love it. Honestly, they are some of the most impressive motors for their size I have ever seen. I won’t stop flying Aerotech, but they are certainly a wonderful addition (and the I110 is awesome).

Well it will give one more to the variety of available motors to fly. What other products would people be interested in? they do motors all the way to 98mm and even have a lot more to offer for the research minded folk as well with Cases in 6″ O and P sizes. All of which will be handled by the Local vendor as well.
So far a couple folks have chimed in would like to hear more.

Loki motors seem to be very nice – I’ve seen a flew fly and have been very impressed 🙂 I like how the 54mm’s have the machined in thrust ring – nice touch.

I personally think that Loki makes a great product and as stated earlier; if there was local support, then I think many people including myself would take it and run (not literally, but you know what I mean)! The key to propellant sales seems to be geographic location, it is simple, if you have a vendor who is all set up and 100% legal then it makes it that much easier for the buyer to spend money without worry.
I think that Loki has a lot to offer the hobby and will soon have even more. I think it would be a great thing to have a local vendor!

I’d love to find long-burning, full-impulse, G, H, and I motors. I didn’t see anything like that on Loki’s website, though.
