I teach rocketry to 25 middle schoolers at my school. This will be our third year of rocketry and I am looking for suitable mid-powered rockets for team building exercises. Of the 25 students, six students are up to the task, so that means I am thinking of 3 kits total.
Given the state of the educational budget in Colorado, I am hoping to find some deals at the Swap-Meet in a couple of weeks that would prove to be a big savings over on line shopping.
Is anyone planning on bringing some mid-power kits to the meeting? If so, I would be interested in hearing about them before the sale, as I am currently developing my purchase order for the school.
Additionally, if anyone cares to donate useful items to our growing rocketry program, we would be quite grateful!
Thanks,
Dave,
Are we talking E,F, G in 24MM? I would be glad to help, I have a pile of kits, I would be glad to give the kids 3 or 4. I am in Kansas (grandkids)
I will be home in a few days. PM me here and we will get a box together for the meeting. Tim Thomas
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
