Hello everyone,
I’m Steve, currently a sophomore in mechanical engineering at CU. I’m totally addicted to rockets and i just got my level one cert at ldrs 26 this summer. I don’t have any rockets in Colorado yet but i want to go to a launch here, meet the people, and do some volunteer range duty while I convince my parents to send me my rockets from California. I don’t have a car so I am looking for a ride from the Boulder area to the labor day launch this weekend.
Thanks, Steve
The club launch this saturday?
I’m a freshman Aerospace engineer, and I’m headed up with my dad this saturday just for the day. I’m in Brackett hall – if you want a ride, we could probably take you up. It’d certainly be convenient…
8) Welcome Steve!!! Well, I don’t know where you launch in Calie, But come on up the the best launch site in the US of A. The Pawnee is some kind of cool. Stop by and say hello, maybe I can find a ‘little-somtin’ for you to build for Octoberfest. After Saturday, you will want to not miss out on Octoberfest. 8)
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
