Purple & Yellow 36″ chute w/spill hole. Attached to a purple 2.5″ FG nose cone, with a Altimeter 1 clipped to whatever is left of the shock cord.
Last seen heading east at @ 5000′. I’m not holding my breath on this one.

Also around the high power pads a key chain 808 camera.

Also lost out there somewhere is David Pinter’s Pro54 4 grain case with two spacers and rear closure. That Io that had been found in April was Jacob Pfund’s – well weathered after four years on the MIA list. And an I-phone was turned in, found by Keith Packard, that Scott Johnson was trying to charge up to see if there was an ICE (In case of Emergency) contact.

Also, I lost a 2.6″ diameter yellow plastic nosecone with a Jolly Logic Altimeter 2 attached. No parachute; flew off of a MadCow DX3 at apogee.

I guess I’m just too good at losing nose cones, but I also lost a 38mm solid resin conical nose cone off of an ARR Blue Phenix Jr. It was tethered into the payload section, but broke lose. It will be buried in the ground…probably not to be seen again.

Your 2.6 nose cone was found on either Saturday or Sunday at the High Skies in July launch. I’ll pop it in the mail to you. Cheers!

Yeah, I didn’t realize it till MHM but during the June Launch I lost a Pro38 3g case west of the road. It had a spacer in it. It probably was burned pretty bad but hoping it survived.

I just got it! Thanks so much.

After a few minutes of charging, the altimeter says 3,226 feet and 389 mph.

Thanks to whoever found it, and thanks to Joe for sending it! Hope to see you all at the August launch.

Eli, Let me know which flight and I can adjust the launch log accordingly. I ought to be able to figure it out but I’d rather have the facts.

Here is the data from the current entry in the flight log:

Eli Boardman DX3 G54 Long Burn 0 JH Yellow

It appears 4th from the top of the list on day one.

Altitude: 3,226 feet

Notes: “Windy; airframe found 1 mile down range and nose cone found 1 month later.”

If that is too much to fit, then how about: “Windy, found 1 mile down range.”

By the way, the nosecone is now attached with nylon rivets, so no more separations will happen. (hopefully)
