John and I lost a 38mm rocket from about 6000 feet at the north site. It weighed in at about 2lbs, and had a large mylar streamer for recovery, so it should be fairly close to the pad. It was last seen going up at just a little over mach, and here is a picture so people can identify it. That pic is the last time anyone saw it (yeah that’s an H999). Also , presumably in the rocket (unless it kicked) was a Rouse Tech 38/360 case, with a plugged forward closure.
Last seen barreling thru a cloud. It did weathercock a bit as it slowed due to the high winds, Donna my gf thought it might be a little North of the site, I had it pegged maybe 100 degrees CCW of the road. Does have a nice casing and electronics aboard, so reward offered.

Just wanted to refresh this thread as both Chris and I will be absent from the launch this upcoming w/e. Missing Warp-9 h999 Rocket is 38mm CF reinforced (red and white) with a Rouse 38/360 and a mini timer from Perfect Flite.

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
