Warren, how long will you be in the ‘hood? I’m visiting my Dad, will be back in Ames on Sunday PM… Now you know why I was whining about the rain. YIPES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me know if you will be passing through?
I’m dropping my daughter off at Grinnell and will be headed back to CO by late afternoon today. It’s not such a bad drive to CO – about 8 or 9 hours at most to the North Site from Grinnell. Won’t be able to stop by, at least on this visit – I’m with the ex-wife in her car. However, I will certainly be back out here a couple times over the school year.

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
