Still tabulating but looks something like this:
3 flyers and 4 flights on Friday
120 flyers and 323 flights on Saturday
115 motor powered vehicles counted at 1:30 PM on Saturday
31 flyers and 57 flights on Sunday
12 flyers and 21 flights on Monday
405 flights overall 303 Class One 102 Class Two
C’s, G’s and H’s most popular motors
3 more Alphabet players
One Jr L1, 6 L1’s, 1 L2, 6 L3’s

Still working out the specifics. Allow some time to get launch logs posted. Still trying to settle numbers for the FAA and USFS.

Joe, I didn’t mark my flight card with altitude. My L3 went to 6525′. Looks like we had a good weekend of flights given the weather.

Okay, finished logging the flight cards. Any mistakes are probably mine. If there are corrections or additions that need to be made (identify date and rocket name) send them to me off line at the club email.

Here is the data for my flight on Sunday – MHM Day Three. Scientific Method, Research motor – Altitude was 9200′.

Also, was I seriously the only research flight of MHM? 🙁 We seem to be a dwindling breed.

Also, I have a 20 pound N2O tank if NCR wants to use it – e-mail me to hammer out the details (edwardcw @ gmail DOT com)

I know several of us rather newbies are interested in research but it is rather hard to get into on your own without a mentor of sorts. Just throwing out an idea to maybe have an “intro to research” weekend sometime when the weather turns bad and things slow down? Maybe early November? Maybe have a Saturday showing how mixing motors etc is done with several experience research guys kinda doing a how to class. I would be interested in something like that if you or a few other guys would be willing to teach us.

James is a great person to contact for those solids motors. I think the best way to learn is just to attend of the the mixing sessions and ask questions. I make those darned fart (hybrid) motors so there isn’t nearly as much hands on mixing with those. Tripoli Colorado has a very large contingent of people who fly research.
