I hope to fly a couple birds.
My AGM – 33 SCORPION Will fly on a K650SS
Another yellow and black theme too,
The K-650 is fun!. It will go high. I am bringing Dog Collars, Astros, Big Red Bee Beacons and Big Red Bee GPS out. If you need tracking it’s all available.

Your Scorpion is a bute, Mike. Don’t get bit. The rocket looks great, but how much for those Lista cabinets? I need something to put tools and rocket parts in? (LOL) 😆
Weather reports are currently showing one last rain midweek, then a possible “slight yuck” day Saturday. Any 1st hand reports from those up north?
Also, is Sunday research? Will LPR racks still be set up Sunday? Just trying to plan.
Thanks,
-Ken
Beautiful here in Wellington today. Sunny, already over 70 degrees at 10 am.
Weather forecast for next Saturday says breezy (15-20mph winds) but beautiful on Friday and Sunday. Wish I was going to be there.
Last call for Nitrous at Mini-Mile High Mayhem.
Please contact me at

if you are going to fly a hybrid.

Nice one. I can’t wait.
The weather is working in our favor. Snow should be pretty well
gone by Thursday afternoon.
Nice to have some good moisture for the Pawnee.
I am setting up Thursday. I will come back with a report of
conditions and some pictures.
The winds also look to be in our favor.
FYI to all concerned – set up is still planned to happen Thursday afternoon/evening and we’ll finish Friday morning for operations. Be smart – plan according to the weather – and be gentle on the roads and prairie.
Weather update from some of my field crew who are installing one of our environmental monitoring towers about 7.5 miles SW of the North Site: They aborted work because of snow, up to 7′ high drifts in places. I hope the ground soaks it up like a sponge once the sun comes out, or it’s gonna be soupy out there!

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
