BEAR
Another way would be to have interchangeable guts for the same rocket. A couple of well concealed screws should do the trick, I would think, if I was thinking in that direction, which I am not.
If everyone would pay-up with their entry fees and then just drop out now, it would really reduce the amount of SyOps necessary and I could get back to work. KWIM (Know What I Mean). Then you can KYSAG (Kiss Your Sweet A** Goodbye) KWIM.
FWIW, I will not talk about your caginess and underhandedness if you will not talk about mine, as I deal from the bottom of the deck.
😆

I think it is time we discussed the I-165 single shot contest. I just re-read the rules and I see nothing in there about an elevated launch pad. If you will watch the video: http://msnvideo.msn.com/?channelindex=8&from=en-us_msnhp#/video/b3df649a-0f70-8394-7d80-00f91333481c ; the guys had a quadcopter and launched an Estes type rocket off of it. I would think with a bit larger quad copter, and a hole in the middle of the copter so the motor thrust does not beat the copter to death, you might be able to launch an “I” motor off of the thing. If you launched from an elevation 500′ above the ground, you could beat everyone. I am not saying I am going to try this, but I am not saying I will not either. And I am not scared of Joe or Chad either!! 😈 😆 🙄

Jeffrey Joe HintonModeratorFunny you should bring that up. I had plans to use an octocopter at 800′ with a laser motivated stability platform to prevent less than perfect verticle performance. Sims at just over 11,500′ on a clear and nearly immaculately calm launch day. Just saying – I’ll be ready! That is, if I can get the re-loads delivered on time. First bunch have been ordered. How many players for the Single Shot?
