‘Mythbusters’ to debut NASA-themed episode Wednesday, Aug. 27
> The popular television science series “Mythbusters” is set to premiere
> a NASA-themed episode that includes experiments conducted at the
> Marshall Center. The episode — which seeks to bust myths espoused by
> critics who think NASA faked the Apollo moon landings — will air Aug.
> 27 at 8 p.m. CDT on the Discovery Channel.
> The hour-long program will repeat Aug. 28 at 12 a.m. and 9 p.m., and
> Aug. 29 at 1 a.m.
> “Mythbusters” hosts Grant Imahara, Kari Byron and Tory Belleci visited
> the Marshall Center last January. They spent two days conducting and
> filming tests in the center’s world-class vacuum chambers.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted.
