Anyone have a small piece of 38mm phenolic tubing at least 16″ long that they can part with?
I’ll dig around and see what I can find. Answer is likely I have one and it’ll be with me.
I do.
I wont be making the launch this weekend because of work. Its no big deal. I was going to use it for the MMM contest, but Ill just use one of my present 38mm rockets for it.
Thanks Warren and Ken for the offer.
Sorry you missed an awesome launch. A tad breezy at times, but gorgeous warm day and everything was coming down north of the pads. The NAR contest folks were out in force, my grandkids and their new friend Ambrose had an exciting day and my wife even enjoyed herself. Now if only I hadn’t been on the edge of pukey from something I ate last night…
In any event, everyone PRAY hard for rain. The prairie is dry and at this point MHM is questionable unless we get significant moisture.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
