Jeffrey Joe HintonModeratorWe are GO FOR LAUNCH on Saturday, January 1st at the ATLAS SITE. The current weather forecast promises cold but favorable conditions for flying starting at 11 AM and lasting until 3 PM or until we run out of motors, lose interest or the cold chases us away, whichever happens first.
Who’s afraid of the cold? I hope I’m not the only hardy soul wanting to start the New Year out right! Check your favorite weather report and/or road conditions.
And if you’re looking for entertainment the night before, come watch fireworks at the Ice Rink in the Centerra Shopping Center show at 8 PM or in Olde Town Fort Collins at 10:30 PM. Happy New Year!

MikeSModeratorI will be there. Towing the trailer. I will be there 9:30ish.
My van has a 10′ cargo area. I am only going to be using a couple
feet this launch. I will have a small tent heater running if any one
wants to use it to prep a rocket. Or just to warm up a bit.The heater is safe, have used it many times in tents smaller
than the van and I’m still around. I will make it knock-over proof. Also will have a ‘frenchpress’ coffee maker making two cups of
strong coffee at a time. Bring your own cup. Just ask.We are supposed to get weather pretty bad here (maybe) but clearing
by friday. Roads should be OKHope to see many.

ParticipantLong time no see. I know Larry Haynes and I will be driving up together.
I bring some grind and some milk, as some of us like it other than black…

👿 In winter I come over the day before, but Fridays forcast in the mountains looks real bad. 👿 I will be over for the meeting next week. I have a box or two of some great OOP kits that I will be selling for a good price. Wish I could be there this weekend, Best let this one slide… Tim

😀 I will post a short list in the next few days. Some OOP, some hard to find and some that are just cool…from small Thrustline to a 4″ Vaughn Bros. Javalin (in a never opened box)(may be the last one on the planet) I have over 300 kits, and I need to thin them out. Thought I would give our guys first first shot at them. Ever want a Flight System Megatron? Got one. 😛 Some really cool stuff. I will price them right! Tim
