North metro people – Lets launch together

So I’ve seen a few people in the Louisville, Broomfield, Westy area post recently.
I’ve also seen mention of flying at the Louisville HS, church off 144th and Zuni and then I fly at Broomfield Commons.

Would you all want to get together and do some LPR stuff on Aug. 2nd (around 9AM)? I was planning on going out to the Commons and doing some more launches. So far its proved to be a very good field, I’m willing to meet up else where though if people are interested.

I may be freed up that day, it will depend on what is left to do on a bathroom remodel that is dragging on. I have a ton of new LP stuff to fly.

What part of the park are you going to be in? Is it closer to the rec center side or over closer to Sheridan side? I have only been to the soccer/Lacrosse side…..

The rec center side. We generally use those soccer fields by the prarie dog field. I’m going to try and claim the shelter on the south side first thing tomorrow.

Got it, I watched a couple of Lacrosse games on that one. Any possibilities of games being played? If so, we would go over to the Church property on 144th & Zuni.

There is a possibility, if so we can just move south to the field, that’s where we launched on my birthday. It works, the real grass is just nicer. The church is an option, but I wouldn’t know how to notify the others that might be coming if we moved.

I live just a few miles from there–if we’re talking about the park in Westminster on 104, at the Sheridan intersection. While I have to do yard work tomorrow morning, let’s not let the fact that a few of us live close enough to do this more than tomorrow. 😉

Sorry, won’t be able to make it.
I didn’t get the bathroom done enough and I’m heading to Kansas on Sunday. I may drop by on my way out for dry wall.
