ParticipantSo Im curious, Who here has 75mm capable rockets say weighing less then 30lbs? Ready to fly and wouldn’t mind a flight on a LM Blue motor in the larger/full L range? If so please give me a PM or Email. Oh and it would be a flight for Sunday.
Im also going to try to do a static fire of my LM Green I have if possible.

AdrianParticipantI’m taking another shot at the F record, using the Parrot for apogee deployment. This time, I did the Twirl-on-a-string test for stability. (passed) Last night the wind forecast for Saturday was 13. 🙁 Now it’s 3-6 🙂

I’ll be coming for the first time as an official NCR member. I’ll have a new scratch retro sci-fi LPR, a scratch 5″ Fatboy MPR/HPR, at least one of my MPR gliders, and a few leftover rockets/motors that need to be flown for contest/bookkeeping purposes. And no kids this time.
I look forward to getting to know you all better.

ParticipantHey, Does anyone have a Chute that could be borrowed for a flight. The rocket and spent motor will weigh around 15lbs.. Dave Hanson is going to fly his rocket on one of my LM Blue K motors but needs a chute. The one he uses got lost when James lost his rocket at OF. Speaking of which when out there everyone should keep an eye out for it.

I have a chute, I just have to find it.

ParticipantSo, anyone camping out Saturday night?
I plan on launching a new rocket specifically designed to launch at night, with my stunt monkey (Capt. Danger) aboard. I also have a few pumpkins from last evening to dispose of. Ideas for creative pumpkin disposal will be entertained at this time.
Sunday I plan on launching “Norbert” on a Dragons Breath Sparky L 1250, it’s the same motor and rocket that I launched at Balls this year (Thanks Elvis). I hope all goes well, I still have to paint the upper air frame section, (I extended it to allow for a larger chute and stunt monkey)

Man I wish I could be out Saturday night but I can’t. I will be out early Sunday morning. Looking forward to seeing Dragons Breath.
