But Does Your Chili Classify as a Research Launch?
Joe, What time should volunteers show up to help with the range?
Possibly.
By afternoon there may be a couple

Members and Friends,
NCR has been given the GO for launch on Saturday and Sunday, November 7th and 8th. Fall has arrived on the prairie – plan accordingly. The extended weather forecast keeps changing. Saturday will be for commercial motors only, with the range and waiver (20,000′ AGL) expected to be opened by 9 AM until 4 PM. Sunday will be a Tripoli Research Launch day, with the waiver again open at 9 AM until 4 PM, depending on the weather and interest. As always, volunteers are needed to help with range set up, operation and clean up. Please contact Ed Dawson at volunteer@ncrocketry.org and let him know you can help.
I have a couple of Alpha Hybrid motors I’d like to burn before the end of the year – contact me if anyone is interested. I’d have motors for both days.

Update on November launch – We’ve got volunteers to tow the equipment trailer out to the range – and back on Sunday. Weather looks great for November. Waiver has been called in 9 to 4 and it should turn out to be a GREAT weekend.
Have fun guys. It’s not looking for me to make it Sat. I had the Crud moving through the family this week among other things.

Thanks for the info. Do you have the forecast like this for Sunday?
In my box of hybrid motors I did find a hybrid research grain that I would like to fly – I won’t be able to be there Sunday but I can get it to someone – anyone want to fly it?
Edward
Thanks for bringing to chili, Mike!
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
