Given the weather didn’t really cooperate for Oktoberfest’s Research day,I am trying to get an idea if there is enough interest among members to add a Research launch on Sunday, November 8th – weather pending, of course. Chime in here or send me a PM, or call me on my electronic leash 303 859-9728. Thanks
Would it be at the North or Atlas site?

Well, probably the North site since I’m still expecting us to be there for the Saturday launch. Depends on the USFS but so far they’ve been really good about our advanced scheduling.
I would make a couple sugar motors for testing.
I would like to fly at one, maybe two EX flights this November, weather permitting of course.
You bet. I’ve been wondering how I could fit in two 15+kft altitude shots and help my daughter with her scratch 2-stage LPR rocket, and this would really help. Weather permitting, of course. 2 days would help with the weather too; there’s a pretty good chance that at least one of the two days would be flyable.

I’d be interested, weather permitting and I can find a case for some Elvis Fries…
I am very interested in doing a research launch.

What are the specs? I haven’t seen a sugar motor in a while. They are great!

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
