So Conway, you’re planning to fly around 9AM, correct?
I’m hoping I can be ready for an early morning launch, and sometime around 8:30 is my goal. I should have almost everything prepped the night before, so I should be able to lift off at 8:45 at the latest.
I definitely don’t want to miss your flight though, and I also need the longest rail I can find (the big one), so I don’t want to conflict there (I’m guessing you need the large rail too).
Im still trying to make sure all is cordinated with My L3cc and the club. But as its sits I should be on the pad and ready to roll at about 10:30AM. I probably wont need a ton of rail. But the more might be better. Yup A big rail is what i need.
OK, great.
That gives me a lot more flexibility in time, as well as more time to retrieve my rocket before yours launches. Can’t wait to see it in person by the way – it looks like a monster in the pics.
I will be posting some more pics tonight as I sprayed the primer on it tonight at the Paint booth. Saturday night I will do the base and clear coats. Then its just a lil more few things to finish up.
Very nice, and I can’t wait to see the pics.
Mine won’t get paint by Oktoberfest, but it will be fully structurally finished. All that remains is the tip to tip on the fins, and it will be complete (well, the e-bay needs a bit more wiring too, but it’s darn close).
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
