Set-Up went well. Pretty windy but spirits were high.
Weather looking good for fri-sat and early sun. Should
be a great launch.
Here are some pics.
Note: You can see how dry things are.

Holy Cow – that grass is tall! I suppose sparkies are not going to happen.
With that tall grass and a bit of wind we could have fun with the fire suppression.
Agreed. I think it’s fairly safe to say larger sparkies are pretty much out.
Have fun finding LPR too… 😯
That is what the talk was at the site.
We trimmed the grass at all the pads. Down pretty short.
(I even broke the weed cutter)
Mike, if you go back to Cheyenne tonight, let us know how everything went today, L3’s, etc. Right now at 4:30 PM, the weather is PERFECT. I’ll see everyone tomorrow!
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
