Just wanted to get an idea of what everyone will be flying at OF. I have a couple birds that I want to fly including my L3 Attempt.
Jason C
Maiden flight of my Crimson Comet as the primered Grey Ghost, on a 2 second burn CTI L2375. Don’t blink, you’ll miss it! 😉
I’m on your L3 flight crew, Jason!
X7 Swift on a I300..Drag race with a Quark
Thor-x on a K445
Pawnee Arrow on a K660 or K590 and two H180
Big Nuke on a J500
If I can get it done and sufficiently tested, I’m going for the G staged record with a G37 to E6 rocket. See http://www.rocketryplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1999 for more info. When I was planning smaller fins it simmed to 15kft. Now it’s more in the 14k range. But still just G total impulse!
I’d also like to fly the booster and sustainers by themselves to go for the G and E single motor records while I’m at it.
I’m going to fly at least 3 SRS 54mm hybrids as well as 2-3 flights of Alpha Hybrids motors (and the aerospike) on Sunday.

Jon Skuba and I hope to get the Ultimate Endeavor off on a CTI K650 to airstart three Aero I284’s. And I might finally have my ugly “Forever” project finished.
I might fly my 4″ on an L1300BB and possibly on a K240 Hypertek hybrid. If things are nice and damp on the ground, I also have a K555 Skidmark I’d consider flying. I’m also trying to finish up the mods to my 54mm MD bird in an attempt to take Wilke’s club L record on an L330 and maybe tweak the 30K mark, though it’s not looking like I’ll have the time to finish up before Oktoberfest – I also need to find a BeeLine to borrow for the flight.

How about my Little Brother.
NO! Not her Little brother!
My Little Brother!
I’m thinking of flying something each motor class from A to K over Friday and Saturday, an Alpha on a A8-3 to The 2.5X Big Daddy on a K550. No airstarts this time, it’s just not in the mental or financial budget this time round. I hope to put up my Estes AstroBeam up at sunset with its lights turned on. When I’m not working, shopping, or talking with people I’ll be doing my volunteering work.
Ron
I’m going to try the SSS again with a similar scratch built rocket, maybe also take a shot at the E altitude.

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
