ModeratorAnxious for the next launch.
This is way out on a limb.
Saturday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
From NOAA.
I will be able to tow.
What are You flying?

ModeratorExcellant – thanks for volunteering to tow Mike. We will be setting both four pad sawhorses, one exclusively for Contest flyers, and probably two lines for High Power fun. I hope to fly my Wild Problem Child, maybe a start to the Alphabet, a winning hand in Altimeter Poker with my Little John and maybe something else.

ParticipantGoing to launch my first 75 on a two grain K-510. It’s my four inch Intimidator — “Kiss My Ass Goodbye” maiden flight.
Looking for something low around 7,000 ft. If it works, I’ve a Smokey Sam 5 grainer for MHM.
Looking forward to seeing you all.

Moderator@MikeS – I’ll be out early to help with set up (8ish?)…
I’ve got a couple of new birds to try before my grandson visits for MHM – my first ‘I’ engine in a PML Miranda (“Ugly Miranda’s Blast-From-the-Tie-Dyed-Past”),, and my first scratch-build (built around the Fat G contest specs). I might try to push my level 1 Cert bird a little higher.. baby steps and all.

ParticipantMike, Thanks for towing ❗
I have a bunch of little stuff A – G that was prepped for the Atlas site.
One of them is new. I won an Estes Der Max and bashed it to the point all I used was the fins, nose cone and decals. It now has an 18mm MM and the nose cone holds an Adept Altim1.
I also plan to fly the Time Bandit on an CTI L595 with an additional 28 feet of shock cord on the drouge. I use a large ejection charge and have had damage to both the fin can and payload section. Hopefully this additional shock cord and some blue masking tape will fix that problem.
I will try to be there early to set up the red pad.
I also have a new blast shield to try out. It will fit on any 1″ spud.
I may bring a couple of Estes Bull Pup twins for the Classic model contest.See yall on the Prairie

ParticipantMike,
Many thanks for towing. I should be on-range around 8 to help set up.
Bringing the Vertical Assault to fly on a K820, then maybe an older rocket or two that hasn’t had much love in the last few years. They need to get out of the basement once in a while, you know. 🙂
Really looking forward to the launch, I am Jonesing bad to put a rocket into the air.
