I have some extra 3” and 4” Performance Rocketry fiberglass tubing pieces that I would like to get rid of cheap. There is one 4” fiberglass tube that is 24” long and one 3” tube that is 20.5” long. I can’t use it but maybe you can?
Thanks,
Art
Dibs! For future projects…
Ken
I could actually use the 4″ piece immediately for an existing PF project I’m working on and want to finish by Oktoberfest. I don’t need the 3″.
Warren
If you’ve got an immediate need, Warren, go for it. I don’t have a lot of spare time beyond fixing what I’ve got right now.
Ken
I too could use the 4″ piece, but I need a chunk like that plus another 4 or 5 feet, so go ahead Warren (since I would need to order some anyways).
OK Art, the magic question is “How much?” and when can I get with you to collect it?
Warren
The 4″ airframe is Warren’s but, Ken if you want the 3″ airframe it is yours.
Art
Oh yeah… I forgot to ask that magic question as well… $?
Hate to bring this up… but at last check PR 4″ tubing is $18/foot and 3″ tubing $16/foot. Learned that from pricing my next bird, which will be with PR G10 fiberglass, 4″. Probably buy a kit, Concept 98, to save some much-needed money, then modify as needed. This is just a reference so you know the good deal Art is giving. 😉
Yeah, it’s expensive, but I don’t need it immediately, and the cost of an extra 2 feet of tube is the least of my worries, so since Warren needs it, he can have it.
