Guys, this is a wee bit off-topic (but not really)… some of you have posted rocket photos on picasaweb.google.com and/or photobucket. I’m wanting to share large quantities of photos online with family and friends. Any advice on which way to go?
I just looked at Mike’s lost-and-found post at http://picasaweb.google.com/mshinn2001/LostFound# I REALLY liked the fact that photos loaded so quickly and that you could “view all”. I was hoping someone here could give me the pros and cons of their favorite way to share photos like this?
Thanks for any guidance!
for what its worth, i really like Picasa. Not sure how much “alot” is, but of rocketry photos at screen sizes (not original or print sizes), 1GB that they give you is quite a lot of photos. You can use it with their web interface or their software, which is multiplatform. I also like the way they do privacy settings.
Photobucket and Flickr are ok, but I do not find them to have as good a combination of features + ease of use that Picasa does.
thanks – I actually uploaded some stuff last night on Picasa and it seemed to work pretty cool!
