I have flown 4″ birds up to 15# with Acme rail guides “merely” glued on with JB Weld.

With rail buttons, I simply screw them in (using threaded inserts), with no glue required. That makes them easy to remove and replace if necessary, and I have had no trouble at all with using this method on up to 30lb rockets so far (my deuce).

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order.
