Radar shows 1/2″ at the North site so far, with an inch to the East and West.
Shows rain over the north site still.
Somewhere between 0.5 to 1.0 inch by my guess by day’s end.
Let’s hope it continues.
Keep dancing!
Looks like about 0.7″ storm total as of this Wednesday night. Not bad, though it won’t last us through till Memorial Day I don’t think.

It has rained about .8″ here in Fort Collins, but we’ll need several more days of rain like this if we want to lessen the fire danger. It only takes a single day of wind to erase and entire day of rain.

Keep dancing – shimmy shimmy cocoa bop! Please Don’t let the rain Stop! Make it Rain all day and then some more – soak the Pawnee prairie to the core.
May have to strt to worry about mud!
Which would remind many of us of MHM 2007 or 2008… we got dumped on and some folks nearly didn’t get out to Road 122.
This mornings radar storm total shows about 1.8″ at the North Site. Now we’re talkin!
“STOP DANCING BASEMENT IS FLOODING” 😯 😯
As Stumpy (Walter Brennan) said in the John Wayne movie, “Rio Bravo”; “there ya go again! Never can satisfy ya!” First you want rain, and then when you get it, you want it to stop. How about we pray for the rain to end by Sunday pm, May 22, with a nice drizzle to soak in deep in the mean time? Then it might last for the rest of the summer into fall, and maybe the rest of the year. (Yeah, I doubt it also. So I guess we need this rain to be a monthly thing, maybe the first week after our monthly launch. You will get some of my knee time.)
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
